NCAA Tennis Facts You Need to Know
1. There are over 1,200 colleges in the US with NCAA Tennis teams. This gives you some idea of how many opportunities there are available.
3. Each team has approximately 8-12 players, men and women. Some teams can be bigger so to have more practice partners and competition available, but each roster will have 8 top payers.
5. Men's teams have a total of 4.5 scholarships and each scholarship can be split 50/50, which means the coach could give half scholarships to 9 players.
7. The average size of a DIV 1 scholarship for men’s tennis is $14,352, and the average size of a DIV 1 scholarship for women’s tennis is $15,465.

2. In DIV 1 Mens - 265 teams & DIV 1 Womens - 323 teams
Division II has 170 Mens & 230 Womens teams DIV III has 331 Mens & 375 Womens teams. 4. Each coach has a certain number of scholarships to hand out to student-athletes. However there are no scholarships in Div III, but there is a chance to receive academic scholarship or financial aid if you fit the criteria.
6. Women's have 9 scholarships but each scholarship must be 100% and cant be divided among players.
